The World Bank’s Country Office in Juba, South Sudan, was awarded the prestigious LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification for its environmentally friendly design and commitment to sustainability. The building was praised for its energy efficiency, water conservation efforts, and innovative use of green technologies. As the water management specialist for this project, MS Consultancy played an essential role in achieving these sustainability goals by:
* Reducing water consumption for the large garden by 50% through the use of drip irrigation, drought-resistant plants, and water harvesting systems that eliminated the need for potable water in landscaping.
* Lowering overall building water use by 20% with the installation of efficient sanitary ware and other water-saving technologies.
