MS Consultancy PLC was pleased to host a technical delegation from the Puntland Ministry of Environment, Range and Climate Change (MoERCC) on 4 September 2026 for a one-day exposure and knowledge-exchange visit in Addis Ababa.
The visit followed the delegation’s participation in a World Bank-supported Environmental and Social Performance Coaching program held in Addis Ababa from 1–3 September 2026 and provided an opportunity to complement the training with practical exposure to the application of environmental and social requirements in ongoing infrastructure projects.
The program began at MS Consultancy’s office, where the delegation was welcomed by the firm’s team and introduced to MSC’s ongoing activities and experience in environmental and social aspects of project planning, design and implementation. The discussions provided a valuable platform for exchanging practical experiences, lessons learned and professional perspectives.
A key part of the visit was a field trip to the Eastern Addis Ababa Catchment Wastewater Treatment Plant project site, where the delegation had the opportunity to observe a major urban infrastructure project under implementation and discuss the practical integration of environmental and social considerations within project delivery.
MS Consultancy greatly appreciated the opportunity to host the MoERCC team and to engage in an open and constructive exchange of knowledge and experience. The visit further strengthened the professional relationship between the two institutions and highlighted the value of regional cooperation and shared learning.
