🔔 Job Opportunity: Resident Engineer
📍 Company: MS Consultancy Plc
🗺️ Duty Stations:
• Harar City – for Project 1
• Tigray Region – Shire, Mehoni, and Wukro Towns – for Projects 2–4
🛠️ Projects:
- Harar Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and Sewer Line Construction Project
- Shire Water Supply Rehabilitation Project
- Mehoni Water Supply Rehabilitation Project
- Wukro Water Supply Rehabilitation Project
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
• Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering issues on-site
• Administer contracts: review work schedules, verify progress reports, and approve contractor payment requests
• Monitor project timelines and address deviations or disputes promptly
• Implement quality assurance procedures, including material testing and contractor submittal reviews
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities
• Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards on all sites
• Oversee commissioning and final handover, including technical training and documentation
🎓 Qualifications and Experience:
• Education: BSc or MSc in Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Water Supply and Environmental Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, or related fields
• Experience:
- Harar WWTP Project: Minimum 14 years of relevant experience, including at least 6 years in WWTP and sewer line construction
- Tigray-based Water Supply Projects: Minimum 12 years of relevant experience
• Candidates must demonstrate successful completion of at least three similar projects in the field
