MS Consultancy PLC is proud to celebrate the official inauguration of the Adama Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project, a landmark infrastructure project developed to improve access to safe and reliable drinking water for Adama City and surrounding communities.

The inauguration ceremony was held on July 7, 2026, bringing together senior government officials, regional and city administration representatives, development partners, contractors, consultants, community representatives, and invited guests to mark the successful completion and official entry into service of this major project.

With a total investment cost of ETB 6.2 billion, the project is expected to benefit more than 1.1 million people. The completed works include deep wells ranging from 15 to 600 meters in depth, 10 large water reservoirs, approximately 245 kilometers of water transmission and distribution lines, electromechanical installations, a modern SCADA water management system, a G+5 office building, and 14 rural water points serving nearby communities.

One of the key technical features of the project is the installation of a 1.2-meter-diameter transmission main pipeline, reflecting the scale, complexity, and engineering significance of the works delivered.

MS Consultancy PLC is honored to have served as the consultant for this important project and to have contributed to the successful delivery of infrastructure that will support public health, improve service reliability, strengthen urban growth, and enhance the quality of life of residents.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Water and Energy, the Oromia Water and Energy Bureau, the Adama City Administration, the Adama Water and Sewerage Service, the Water Development Fund, the African Development Bank, CGCOC Group, and all institutions, professionals, and partners whose commitment and collaboration made this achievement possible.

The inauguration of the Adama Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project is a proud milestone for MS Consultancy PLC and for all stakeholders involved. Most importantly, it is a meaningful achievement for the people of Adama and surrounding areas, bringing improved water access, stronger public services, and a lasting foundation for healthier and more resilient communities.
