On April 18th, 2023, a joyful event took place at MS Consultancy’s headquaters in Addis Ababa. MS staff stationed at different project sites- across the country – came for Fasika (Easter) celebrations.
Around a beautifully adorned table, laden with an array of traditional Ethiopian dishes, colleagues gathered in a convivial setting, ready to exchange experiences, tell jokes, and share a meal. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and anticipation as everyone settled in, eager to enjoy not only the delicious cuisine but also the camaraderie that comes with breaking bread together.
After lunch, the senior staff of the company initiated a heartwarming tradition by blessing a honey-rounded bread before cutting it. The act was imbued with significance, reflecting the company’s appreciation for the fruitful collaboration and shared success among colleagues.
The traditional coffee ceremony served as a fitting conclusion to the event, underscoring the importance of tradition, community, and shared experiences in bringing people together.
