The firm R.J BURNSIDE International Limited in a joint venture with MS Consultancy plc signed a contractual agreement with the Water Development Commission. As a 1st deliverable, the Consultant submitted, on August 2021, the Draft Inception Report for the Preparation of Urban Water Supply Study & Design Criteria & Guidelines. After receiving the Client’s comments the following month, the Consultant requested a sit down with the Client to resolve differences and clarify some points before submitting the Final Inception Report and conducting the validation workshop.
On October 7th, 2021, the Consultant concisely presented the submitted Draft Inception Report and raised key features that need to be resolved. The discussion, which was attended by several Water Development Commission professionals- including the Commissioner, served as a platform to reach a common understanding the best approach to adopt. More precisely, major discussion points included the Manual’s content and structure; as well as the documentation process; and contractual matters.
